Sherri Malone, DVM
Dr. Sherri Malone earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Dalhousie University before attending the Atlantic Veterinary College and obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Dr. Malone attends regular continuing education and recently became a certified PennHIP Veterinarian. Dr. Malone enjoys all facets of small animal practice. She particularly enjoys surgery, both soft-tissue and orthopedics, lameness examinations and sports medicine. Hobbies include gardening, reading, and dog training. Currently a member of the Fundy Schutzhund Club, Dr. Malone is actively training her young dogs in IPO. Dr. Malone shares her home life with her husband Dale on a small hobby farm full of an assortment of critters.
Sheila MacGowan, DVM
Graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 1998, Dr. Sheila MacGowan was excited to start her career at the Hampton Veterinary Hospital, a practice located in the area where she and her family live. Dr. MacGowan has a special interest in internal medicine and "exotic" patients, including rabbits, ferrets and pocket pets. When not practicing veterinary medicine, Sheila loves to cook for friends and family and has a passion for travel. Sheila shares her home with her dogs Daisy, Angelo, Izaak and Emmett and cats Shelby, Susie, and Stephie (aka Breadpuss).
Aileen MacLean, RVT
Aileen began working part-time at the Hampton Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2012 while attending Oulton College as a second-year student in the Veterinary Technician program. She graduated in June of 2013 after completing her on-job training, and has been a full-time member of the Hampton Vet team since then. Aileen has always had a passion for animals, both large and small. In her spare time Aileen enjoys reading, spending time in the barn and running. Aileen shares her home with husband, Cody, daughter, Addison, dog Jayce, tabby cat Bruce, and Quarter Horse Oakley.
Emilee Armstrong, RVT
Emilee joined our team in December of 2016 after having worked as a veterinary technician for the last 3 1/2 years. She graduated from the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture with a diploma of Veterinary Technology. She has always had a strong passion to work with and help animals ever since she was a little girl. In her spare time, Emilee enjoys reading, painting, and being outdoors with her dogs. She shares her home with her dogs Dexter and Hendrix, her cats Tyrion, and Kyo.
